When did you start working with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF)?

I served on the Board during the era of Rose Lincoln Hamilton but my family involvement goes back to my father George Davis being one of the original founders.

Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF

GTCF continues to be such an important organization in Pierce County and I attempt to sing its praises wherever I can. I am a Co-Chair of the Board Alumni Committee.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

My “career” was in warehouse management in the Port of Tacoma but my real joy was working with numerous nonprofits in the area. For the past 7 years, I have been actively involved in the Pacific Bonsai Museum.

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

I love to grow flowers and am experimenting with new varietals!

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

Pacific Bonsai Museum is a tranquil, lovely outdoor museum with an outstanding collection of Bonsai!
